To be eligible students must have sat and passed a minimum of paper F7, F8 and F9. If they are awarded exemptions from Papers F7, F8 or F9, or they have exemptions from any papers based on qualifications gained more than ten years ago, they will not be eligible to join the degree scheme. (if this is the case, students will be eligible if they give up these exemptions and sit the relevant papers.) Students are also required to hold a minimum English language qualification e.g. GCSE English, Cambridge proficiency examination in English, or equivalent, including paper F1 (Accountant in Business).
Students are given the opportunity to opt into the degree at the time of initial registration with ACCA. Students who do not opt in at this time can do so on the ACCA website at any time prior passing paper F7 / F8 / F9 .A student's Status is indicated on each examination entry form, which is sent out in February and August.
In addition to passing Knowledge Module (old part 1) and Skill Module (old part 2) of the ACCA examination students will be required to complete a Research and Analysis project. This is designed to ensure that students have acquired the additional key skills required for the additional key skills required for the aware of an Oxford Brookes degree. |
